A Southern California native's favorite taco truck
As a native of Southern California, I know a good taco when I taste one, and this little truck has the goods! In several years of weekly trips to the truck, conveniently parked in front of the Bloomingdale's Outlet on the northwest corner of 72nd and Broadway, I have never been disappointed.
The carne asada, al pastor, carnitas and tinga tacos are the real deal. I suggest adding some green salsa for a mild bite, or red for that oh-no-I-just-ate-hot-lava sensation. At just $10, with your choice of meat, their nachos are a bargain! (I wouldn't bother with the burritos, though…)
Tell them el güerito sent you, and please, don't forget to tip!
