Lua adored the northern reaches of Central Park, where she spent her time seeking out other dogs to play with and intriguing scent trails to follow. Snow and cold never diminished her enthusiasm, nor that of her little (human) sister.
The north end is better than ever these days: the Harlem Meer's new Davis Center, with its convertible pool and skating rink, has South Harlem buzzing, and the revitalization restored an old footpath, making it easier to reach the northern tip of the park.
